The National Chaplains of the Philippines (NCP) – Aguilar Chapter formalized their partnership, as a Civil Society Organization (CSO), with the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) through signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the DSWD Field Office 1 (DSWD FO 1).

The NCP – Aguilar Chapter was represented by Municipal Director Pastor Henry Merin (first photo). Under Gabay (Mentor) as the CSO’s area of engagement, the NCP – Aguilar Chapter intends to provide technical expertise in the conduct of Family and Youth Development Sessions, Values Formation, and Spiritual Enrichment for 4Ps beneficiaries in the Municipality of Aguilar, Pangasinan. This is geared towards holistic improvement of level of well-being of 4Ps beneficiaries.

The MOA signing was witnessed by 23 members of the organization and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Aguilar, Pangasinan under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Roldan C. Sagles. He was represented by Ms. Maria Robelle Anne Pearl Sagles, Senior Administrative Aide IV and conveyed the LGU’s utmost gratitude to NCP – Aguilar for manifesting their support and commitment with the DSWD FO 1and the LGU in the implementation of social programs and services.

As of April 2022, there are 193 CSO Partners with MOA that are currently operating as an extension arm of the DSWD FO 1 in promoting the welfare of 4Ps beneficiaries in Region 1.
