At least 15,811 poor households identified by Listahanan 2 will be assessed by the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. Of these, there are 10,398 in Pangasinan; 2,282 in La Union; 1,720 in Ilocos Sur; and 1,411 in Ilocos Norte.

These poor households will undergo rigid assessment by Pantawid Pamilya staff in all the provinces through a simultaneous Community Assembly from September to November 2019.

The following documents are required to be brought during Community Assembly: Photocopy of Birth Certificate; School Enrollment Certificate; Barangay Certificate; Photocopy of Valid ID Card; Medical Certificate or Persons with Disability Identification Card; and Tribal Certificate for Indigenous Peoples.

The activity aims to evaluate the possibility of recommending these poor households to be registered and become beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilya.

Registration of additional qualified poor households will complete the 4.4 million households to be served by Pantawid Pamilya by 2022 nationwide.

To become a Pantawid Pamilya beneficiary, a household should have children aged 0-18 years old and agree with the conditions of the program. These include at least 85% school attendance of the monitored children; avail of health services, and attendance to the monthly Family Development Session (FDS).

Their compliance to the program conditions will equate to their receipt of cash grants per month which include Php300.00 in elementary and Php500.00 in high school per monitored child maximum of three per household for education; Php500.00 for complying health conditions and attendance to FDS.  (by: Jaesem Ryan A.
