Spearheaded by the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 1 (DSWD FO1), Day Care Centers (DCC) in the City of San Fernando, La Union were provided with brand new additional learning materials for Day Care Children.
Funds were extracted from the FundRun conducted by the Pantawid Pamilya Regional Program Management Office in December 2015.
Day Care Children together with respective Day Care Workers accepted the musical instruments, counting paraphernalia, educational toys, and the like. These were the needs of the DCCs based on the result of the SSA Administration conducted in October 2015.
Regional Program Coordinator (RPC) Rosalyn L. Descallar and Supply Side Assessment (SSA) Focal Narisa C. Ramos personally delivered these learning materials to DCCs with identified high number of Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries such as Pias DCC, Calabugao DCC, Brgy. 1 DCC, Ilocanos Sur DCC, Catbangen DCC, San Agustin DCC, Masicong DCC, Parian DCC, Tanquigan DCC, Bungro DCC, Bangcusay DCC, and Bangbangolan, DCC.
