DSWD Field Office 1 – Sustainable Livelihood Program formally inks partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry Region 1, Department of Science and Technology Region 1, Philippine Carabao Center – Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (PCC-DMMMSU), Department of Information and Communications Technology Region 1, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Region 1, Cooperative Development Authority Region 1 Extension Office, SM City Urdaneta, Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 1, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 1, Department of Agrarian Reform Region 1, LGU Bani, Pangasinan, and LGU Anda, Pangasinan through a Ceremonial Signing of Partnership Agreements.

DSWD Field Office 1 Regional Director Marie Angela S. Gopalan delivers her message to the partners of Sustainable Livelihood Program.

 

“To empower the poorest of the poor and those who are marginalized, it is important that the Government is there to provide support. Partnership such as this will pave the way to see how we can assist a family achieve improved well being,” Regional Director Marie Angela S. Gopalan said in her message.

PCC-DMMMSU Center Director Vilma Gagni emphasized in her testimony the importance of partnership with different agencies or institutions. Each agency brings its own expertise, resources, and perspective to the table, enabling a more holistic and effective approach to address the needs of the beneficiaries.

 

This event marks not only the formalization of agreements between DSWD FO 1 – SLP and its partners but also the beginning of a journey toward mutual growth and prosperity. Each signature represents a promise, a pledge to work together towards common goals, and a testament to the power of unity in achieving meaningful outcomes. (by John Chris B.
