Vice Mayor Sandra T. Cabreros formally declared the passage of Sangguniang Bayan Resolution Number 2021-04-75 “A Resolution in Support to the Pantawid Pamilya Exiting and Graduating Household Beneficiaries in the Municipality of Currimao, Ilocos Norte” during the Pantawid Pamilya Graduation Ceremony.
She is hopeful that with the assistance of the Local Government Unit (LGU), the 32 household beneficiaries (25 graduating and seven exiting) will continue improving their level of well-being. “Layunin ng resolusyon na ito na makagawa ng Sustainability Plan upang patnubayan ang mga nagtapos bilang benepisyaryo ng 4Ps kung paano mabuhay nang masaya at makabuluhan (This resolution aims to develop a Sustainability Plan to guide the graduates on how to live a life to the fullest).” She also mentioned that through the passage of the resolution, the government shall allocate funds for the implementation of the Sustainability Plan.
“Kayo [mga nagtapos] ang mga bunga ng sakripisyo sa implemetasyon ng 4Ps sa ating bayan. Binigyan ninyo ng pagpapahalaga ang mga binigay ng gobyerno. Let us be the mirror. Kung kinaya ninyong umunlad, kaya rin ng iba (You [the graduates] are the fruits of sacrifices for the implementation of 4Ps in our municipality. You gave importance to all assistance given by the government. Let us be the mirror. If you were able to improve your life, others can do it also),” shared Mayor Edward T. Quilala as he accepted the graduates upon endorsement of Provincial Link Ronald V. Punio.
Parent Leader Rhodalyn M. Acar (right photo) confidently uttered, “Ang araw na ito ay pagkakataon kong ipagsigawan na naging stepping stone ko ang 4Ps para umunlad ang pamumuhay ng aking pamilya. Natutunan kong magsumikap at ipinamulat ko sa aking mga anak ang kahalagahan ng edukasyon (Today is my chance to proclaim that 4Ps became my stepping stone to improve the life of my family. I learned to persevere and instill the importance of education to my children.
The exiting and graduating household beneficiaries were identified by the City/Municipal Links based on 4Ps Act. Graduating household beneficiaries have reached self-sufficiency level of well-being. A household beneficiary shall exit from the program when they meet any of these criteria: the last monitored child turns 19 years old or finishes high school; reaches 7-year duration in the program; no longer poor based on Listahanan result; voluntarily waives from the program; and commits offenses leading to delisting.
