Bagulin Area Coordinator Rhodora Rulloda informs the LGU of Bagulin of the total households assessed per barangay and thanks them for their support in the Listahanan Project of DSWD-FOI.

The National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) or Listahanan of the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Field Office I (DSWD-FOI) already assessed 793,044 households out of the 928,633 target households in Region I.

Out of the 793,044 assessed households, 79,815 households are from the Province of Ilocos Norte; 115,284 from Ilocos Sur; 132,898 from La Union; and 465,047 households from the Province of Pangasinan.

Listahanan Field Staff from six municipalities in La Union (Tubao, San Gabriel, Caba, Sudipen, Bangar, and Balaoan) are already done with their Exit Conference after finishing the enumeration in their designated area.

Last 15 July 2015, the DSWD-FOI NHTU Staff attended the Exit Conference of Bagulin, La Union together with Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Erlinda J. Ochoco, NHTU Bagulin Field Staff composed of an Area Coordinator, Area Supervisor and six Enumerators, and the Barangay Captains or their Representatives from the Municipality’s 10 barangays.

The enumeration proper in Bagulin started last 11 May 2015 and ended on 9 July 2015. A total of 2,689 households was assessed from the one urban and nine rural barangays of Bagulin.

From the 2,704 households in Bagulin that the enumerators visited, three do not have any qualified respondents; nine were temporarily away during the enumeration which the barangay captains confirmed; and three who refused to be interviewed because of their religion which discourages acceptance of help from the government.
