encodingTen (10) encoders are now facilitating data input of the entries of the Family Assessment Forms (FAFs) accurately gathered and filled out by the Enumerators deployed in the four provinces of Region 1.

This is done for the special validation of the beneficiaries of Social Pension (SocPen) Program and the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer for Families in Need of Special Protection (MCCT-FNSP).

This encoding activity will last for 15 days, as such, encoders are tasked to work for 80 FAFs in 12 hours a day (7am-7pm).

Simultaneous with this is the encoding also of the Barangay/Community Characteristics (BCC).

The encoders review and verify entries on the FAFs before encoding these to the FAF Data Entry Application.

FAFs with errors and discrepancies are returned to the concerned Area Supervisors to correct and complete the data needed prior to encoding and Proxy Means Test (PMT) running.

As of June 20, of the 10, 359 total beneficiaries, there are 9,722 social pensioners and 637 MCCT-FNSP beneficiaries or 83.85% assessed by the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) Project or Listahanan.

This special validation will determine the poverty status of the SocPen and MCCT-FNSP beneficiaries/recipients who are not registered in the Listahanan database of poor households.

Such activity will also guarantee the resumption of the payment as monthly stipends to qualified SocPen beneficiaries. It will also lead to the inclusion of MCCT-FNSP beneficiary-families in the Listahanan database of poor households thus, advancing them to the regular Pantawid Pamlilyang Pilipino Program.
