DSWD is now starting the Extended Age Coverage (EAC) Program through the validation of 97,585 target children beneficiaries ages 15-18 years old for inclusion to the said program.

The EAC Program aims to encourage more beneficiaries to finish at least highschool. This is also in response to DepEd’s K-12 program and will prepare more children for better future opportunities.

A total of 9,183 target children beneficiaries will be validated in the province of Ilocos Norte; 12,008 for Ilocos Sur; 15,095 for La Union and; 61,299 in Pangasinan.

High school children beneficiaries, maximum of three, will receive P500 per child per month while Elementary school children, maximum of three, will be receiving P300 per child per month for their respective education grants.

Validation schedules will be conducted in different municipalities for the whole month of April this year.
